Customer Support Engineer/Supervisor

We can't offer what the big guys can, but then again, we wouldn't want to! We do offer: We are in need to a Support Engineer and a Support Supervisor. Candidates should have 1-3 years experience providing hands-on technical support to UNIX-based Client Server products: SQL hands-on experience (Sybase preferred); and telcom. data communication such as Sonet, T1 or T3 is desired. For the Supervisor role, proven leadership skills & experience implementing a help desk ticket tracking system is required (Remedy system knowledge preferred). Key responsibilities include: technical leadership; investigating & troubleshooting problems with UNIX-based Client Server product line & ongoing maintenance (for the Engineer this includes on-site assistance at locations throughout the US); execution of test plans for new software releases; diagnostic checks of customer systems; product installations & upgrades and developing telcom. network element interfaces.
