Call for Nominations to the UniForum Board of Directors

Attention All UniForum Members

The Membership is invited to submit nominations to the UniForum Board of Directors Nominating Committee (the "Committee").

 

 

Board Member Information

Board members are elected by the membership annually to two-year terms. Members meet quarterly, elect their own officers and establish an Executive Committee. Board members set the strategic direction of the Association and advise the President on programs and policies.

 

Nominating Information

Nominees must be members of UniForum Association. The Committee will recommend a slate of candidates to the Board of Directors, with a final slate of nominees presented to the membership for ballot election in June.

Any member of UniForum may also place his or her name on the final slate of candidates upon presenting to the Committee a nomination petition signed by 2% of the Membership.

 

Call for Nominations

Members wishing to recommend candidates to the Board should send written notice to the Committee in care of:

Submissions should be received at UniForum by March 10. The Committee expects to make its report to the Board on March 14, 1997. Nominee submissions should include:

The submission should also include a brief description of the candidate's qualifications, including activities and achievements within the open systems industry.
